Olivier Brigaud graduated from École Normale Supérieure de la rue d’Ulm and École des Mines and earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France. He started his career at the French Nuclear Safety Authority. He continued with several executive management positions in various industries, leading subsidiaries of French companies in the US. In the last 5 years, Olivier has focused his attention on energy storage applications supporting the electrical grid transition to renewable energy including at SAFT, a global designer and manufacturer of Li-ion batteries. More recently, he founded Innovative Energy Storage Solutions (iESS), a start-up developing a portfolio of energy storage projects in the Northeast of the US.
