Conference Directors

 

Masi is a junior from the UK majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering and pursuing certificates in Energy, Statistics & Machine Learning, and Urban Studies. He is particularly interested in the intersection of energy technology, transport, and policy, and is currently working on his Junior Paper focusing on biogenic carbon emissions and sequestration in urban areas. Outside PUEA, he is involved in PU Nonprofit Consulting and the Entrepreneurship Club. In his free time, he enjoys road cycling and hiking.

Carolina is a junior from Milan, Italy, majoring in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, with potential certificates in Finance and Sustainable Energy. She is interested in the financing of renewable energy businesses and in the intersection between climate change and business sustainability. Fun fact: Carolina drives a fully electric car.

Aneesha Manocha is a junior from Chapel Hill, NC, majoring in Electrical Engineering with certificates in Sustainable Energy, Environmental Studies, and Applications of Computing. She is particularly interested in macro-energy system modeling, hydrogen and fuel cell technology R&D, and the intersection between energy, engineering, and policy.

Hannah is a senior from Massachusetts, and is majoring in economics, with certificates in environmental studies, statistics and machine learning, and Latin American studies. She is interested in conflicts regarding natural resource extraction and distribution, as well as cost-effective implementation of energy infrastructure in developing nations. She is passionate about exploring the intersections of the public and private sectors to design mechanisms for making energy access affordable.

Cathy is senior in the computer science department from Santa Clara, California. She is interested in sustainability, renewable energy, and the environment as well as computational biology. She was a member of Princeton's Varsity Swimming & Diving Team, and outside of the water she enjoys playing piano and watching old Hollywood movies or period dramas.

Ho Joon is a junior from New Jersey pursuing a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. He is particularly interested in bridging the need for sustainable energy production while meeting the heavy demand for energy usage on a global scale. Ho Joon is also a proud member of Engineers without Borders, and in his free time enjoys watching soccer, anime, and winning imaginary arguments in his head.
